How it works
From parts list to evidence file
Seven steps, fixed scope, and no technical data. Here's who does what at each step, and what you have at the end of it.
- 01
Intro call
- You
- Tell us about your products, your contracts and your timing.
- We
- Explain how the work runs and whether it fits. No data changes hands.
- Output
- A clear yes/no on fit and a rough scope
- 02
NDA + engagement letter
- You
- Sign a mutual NDA and an engagement letter with a fixed fee.
- We
- Confirm scope, the part-number count tier and the delivery date.
- Output
- Signed NDA and engagement letter; 50% deposit
- 03
You send the cleaned parts list
- You
- Export purchased parts using our template and confirm in writing that the list is non-controlled.
- We
- Check the list is complete and free of data we don't accept.
- Output
- An accepted, non-controlled working list
- 04
Screening and exception triage
- You
- Answer a short set of follow-up questions, if any.
- We
- Identify parts with covered magnets and document which exceptions may apply, and why.
- Output
- Exposure Map: covered, exempt (with reasoning), needs tracing
- 05
Supplier tracing
- You
- Introduce us to suppliers where it helps.
- We
- Run outreach up the chain in English, Spanish, Portuguese or Mandarin, with a defined effort per supplier.
- Output
- Supplier responses, declarations and source documents
- 06
Evidence validation
- You
- Nothing, unless we need a decision from you.
- We
- Cross-check what suppliers say against documents and public information, and flag inconsistencies.
- Output
- Each line marked with the strength of its evidence
- 07
Deliverables
- You
- Review the file and make your own compliance determination.
- We
- Walk you through the findings and open items.
- Output
- Per-part spreadsheet, evidence folders, summary memo, outreach log
Deliverables
Four things you keep
Per-part spreadsheet
One row per line: magnet type, exception analysis, origin chain found, evidence strength, open items.
Evidence folders
One folder per traced line with supplier declarations, certificates of origin and correspondence.
Summary memo
A short narrative of method, findings, exceptions considered and limits of the evidence.
Outreach log
Every contact attempt: who, when, how, and the response, including "no response".
Supplier outreach
A defined effort, then a documented result
Each supplier gets the same defined effort, for example three emails and two calls over four weeks, in English, Spanish, Portuguese or Mandarin as needed.
Some suppliers won’t answer. That’s still a result: “no response” after the defined effort goes in the outreach log, which is also the record you need when documenting efforts to find compliant material.
